New Release: Maxwell D - Blackberry Hype - Out Now!

Fans of UK Garage from way back when will remember Maxwell D from Pay As You Go Cartel and his solo single on 4 Liberty records "Serious".
Those older fans of UK Funky, may remember these days but a whole generation of ravers will know of Maxwell D because of a slew of freestyles over some of the biggest instrumentals in the UK Funky scene during 2009. One in particular, over Lil Silva's "Different" attracted massive attention to the point where it needed to be released in full.
Read inside for details on the remix package and where you can pick up this essential release!
Of course as with Gracious K's "Migraine Skank" there are certain legal implications that arise when a freestyle (or beat used without permission in some cases) has such an impact that it warrants a release as a song in its own right. On this occassion Maxwell D's team have hit the nail on the head with an all new video mix which betters the original Lil Silva beat, while retaining enough of the bassline hook to keep it recognisable.
Remixes on this EP come courtesy of 1Xtra Bassline don DJ Q who delivers a trademark rough edgy 4x4 production.
South coast based G-Lock, producer behind Maxwell's "I No U Like It" and currently working on further tracks for Maxwell's album brings the Electro heat with a hot remix.
The remix package is completed by king of UK Funky bass rollers, Hard House Banton, in typical Hard House Banton style this ones a proper roller, and my pick of the remixes!
Here's the video if you've not seen it already...
