UK Funky finally took a monumental step in being recognised as a national craze as it finally touches down at the BBC's Maida Vale studios.

This month saw BBC Radio 1Xtra host the first Funky Jam Session with the Crazy Cousinz. Paleface, Flukes, MC Versatile and Kyla were all present and correct for representing the UK Funky scene on MistaJam's live show.

Monday 6th of July sees the re-release of the all time ladies anthem "Sweet Female Attitude - Flowers".

Way, way back in the year 2000 the UK Garage scene AND the UK charts were taken by storm by two girls from Manchester known as Sweet Female Attitude.

9 years on the girls are back, albeit with the same track and are hoping to taste the same success with a new generation of clubbers.
