Dubstep and UK garage in Scotland you say? Not the ramblings of a mad man, but in fact a deep fried Mars bar of a treat.

Hailing from Glasgow, Gravious - known on weekdays as Ali - has been quietly going about his business over the last couple of years, gradually building up a solid base of support thanks to some wonderfully deep beats.

Releases on Scuba's Hotflush imprint coupled with a must-see live set have further aided Gravious's cause and 2010 looks nailed on to be even bigger and better for this man.

For that reason we are pleased to present Slick n Fresh's February mix, the second in the series, from Gravious. Put your feet up; kick back & relax, this really is sublime.

Collaboration: It's the current buzzword of the office and the internet.

Many tools have been created to allow people to collaborate over the web on things such as word documents, spreadsheet and presentations.

Back in October, SnF wanted to take the office collaboration concept out of the box and asked the question "Can we collaborate on a mix?"

And so was born Episode one of the Slick Clique Collabomix.

4 days was all it took to conceive and execute a mix with 10 DJs playing the best in UK garage as one all over the internet.

And then came episode 2...

On 17/10/09, registration opened for the Collabomix episode 2.

3 months later, we have a mix featuring 9 DJs from SnF's forum, blasting through 19 of the deepest darkest UKG tracks from the early noughties.

Majestic MC is one of the only "new skool" MCs to push his way into to mainstream UK Garage circuit - one which is still dominated with veteran hosts.

UK Garage has been supplied by material from DJ Funky 'F1' D for a while now. Be it via his productions made in conjunction with MC Majestic or his highly successful Maj-Funk mix series, it's likely you've come across something he's been involved in before.

Well Funky D, Majestic & a whole other host of MCs are back with a mix CD that they say should be the soundtrack to your summer.

Total Jam: Kavos 2009 is a combination of new & old skool garage, funky, dubstep and the baddest MCs on the UKG road. Amongst a mass of tunes squeezed into an hour, you can also find Majestic, CKP, Kie, J-Mak, Sharky P & Excellence spitting bars.

Back in September 2009 we reported at Slick n Fresh on how MC B Live had announced via his MySpace that he was bored of UK Garage. He used this annoucement to push forward his new CD alongside Deja Vu's Funk Butcher. The CD entitled "House & Garage Vol 1" was an instant success confirming the duo as a force in the Funky scene.

9 months on Funk Butcher and B Live have teamed up once again for one of the heaviest funky selections on road. With I'm Happs Vol 1 the duo take you on a journey through anthems, exclusive dubplates and hot off the press remixes.
