DJ Elski has taken the crown title of "Hardest Working Man In UK Garage".

Now known as the man pushing the new music the hardest, Elski is still putting his name out there regularly. Quite frankly we don't know how he finds the time to do radio shows on legal radio for Westside FM, push his 4 2 The Floor club nights and produce new music either solo or with scene new kid 8th Note.

Elski landed us a mix last month. Yes we're slack. Yes we should have got it up sooner. And yes, it's heavy.

Pressure and Zenn are back with another instalment of Vocal Flavaz.

Vocal Flavaz Volume 4 sees Pressure and Zenn retake to the decks with their usual troupe of MCs, and this time they've invited a couple of extra veterans to the party.

On this mix with the usual banging vibes, expect to find the hard hitting line up of MCs Hyperactive, Cobra and RB; supported by legends Munchie and Blakey.

In addition, the boys told SnF "We're pushing things hard. Watch this space for a Vocal Flavaz label."

4x4 UK Garage Nerds rejoice - have I got a mix for you.

DJ Masha has been banging out UK Garage for a few years now. After starting back as a Drum n Bass MC playing with DJ Fader on pirate radio, Masha is now looking to surface from the underground and take UKG back to the mainstream.

Masha is also connected. You may notice a tune or two that you just can't get hold of.

This month's sterling mix is brought to you by Nottingham based DJ/Producer Littlefoot. Following releases on L2S Recordings and Night Audio, Littlefoot's own brand of psychedelic Detroit-garage has been turning heads on bass laced dance floors up and down the UK.

Member of the Reprogression crew - along with fellow partners in crime Dawntreader, Erra, Spare, and Casual P - Littlefoot infuses boogie into the beat, taking influence from Wookie, Wiley, and computer games to produce some spectacularly danceable tunes.

If you want to catch his show out and about, the Reprogression night in Nottingham is a good place to start. Failing that, you can hear him dropping treats every Saturday on Sub FM (9-11pm), as well as at London's first 'Future Garage' night Swivel, at the end of May. SnF Crowned it's UK Garage King back in February 2009 when DJ Darkside walked away with the Slickmix 2008 title.

12 months on the competition is a long & distant memory. Doesn't mean we couldn't catch up with him and get him to through down a little mix for us.

Since winning the Slickmix, Darkside has had his head books studying at uni. Winning the Slickmix meant Darkside got his hands on an exclusive dubplate. Due to availability, Jelly Beats was unable to put an intro together for our winner. Luckily the day was saved by friend of Slick n Fresh Duncan Powell.

Duncan put together a banging personalised mashup for Darkside which he has kindly whacked into a mix exclusively for SnF.

"I've tried to include a range of stuff" Darkside told SnF. "Old & new skool, some dark bits, and couple random bits that I'm feeling. Should be something different hopefully."

Different it is. Feeling it we are.

Hailing from Glasgow, Gravious - known on weekdays as Ali - has been quietly going about his business over the last couple of years, gradually building up a solid base of support thanks to some wonderfully deep beats.

Releases on Scuba's Hotflush imprint coupled with a must-see live set have further aided Gravious's cause and 2010 looks nailed on to be even bigger and better for this man.

For that reason we are pleased to present Slick n Fresh's February mix, the second in the series, from Gravious. Put your feet up; kick back & relax, this really is sublime.

Collaboration: It's the current buzzword of the office and the internet.

Many tools have been created to allow people to collaborate over the web on things such as word documents, spreadsheet and presentations.

Back in October, SnF wanted to take the office collaboration concept out of the box and asked the question "Can we collaborate on a mix?"

And so was born Episode one of the Slick Clique Collabomix.

4 days was all it took to conceive and execute a mix with 10 DJs playing the best in UK garage as one all over the internet.

And then came episode 2...

On 17/10/09, registration opened for the Collabomix episode 2.

3 months later, we have a mix featuring 9 DJs from SnF's forum, blasting through 19 of the deepest darkest UKG tracks from the early noughties.
