4 days from conception to fruition - the first instalment of the Slick n Fresh Slick Clique Collabomix is here.

The idea, suggested by Smudgie Focus, was to create a mix that was between several members on the forum.

With that in mind, we went for a "mix 2, pass it on" approach and created the first ever SnF collabomix.

Thanks to all the DJs involved and thank you to Smudgie Focus for the idea that will make him belated Member of the Month!

As mentioned, this was the "test case" for doing this. Doing so, some issues have been raised and the process will be refined for the next one.

Interested to hear feedback from the DJs involved and anyone that observed the process or listened to the mix.

this idea worked better than i thought it would! welldone smudgie, brainz and big up all the djs for getting the job done so quick!!

only 2 MINOR issues for next time..

when a DJ has finished mixing in their 2nd tune leave the faders, switches, effects etc. alone.. it's not ur go anymore! just let the tune play out!!

maybe whoever starts the mix should be given a set BPM. for me it was too fast, i actually tried 4 different records before i found one that could keep up! and even then it was on +7
